Holy slush, batman! It was snowing when we woke up, and at around noon Christopher and I had to go outside and shovel snow off the driveway for almost an hour. And then, of course, after we came back inside it rained, and now everything is slush. It soaked right through my boots on the walk to and from Curves. Fun times. It's so messy and wet out there. Poor Christopher doesn't even have boots. It sure was nice to get back to Curves, though. I only made it there one day last week, with us working so hard at the immigration. Then, I took yesterday off to just catch up on rest, lounged around and took a nap for about an hour. I'm surprised I haven't gained any weight, this past week. I actually lost around a quarter of a pound, I think. I'm going to try to stay motivated to go every day for the rest of the week, so I can make up for what I missed last week. Only 1053 calories to go to meet last week's and this week's combined goal!

I didn't like the asparagus last time. Too flavorless. But I'm determined to acquire a taste for it because, well, you can only eat broccoli and cauliflower so many times before you're ready to kill yourself. Therefore, I've decided to make asparagus again, tonight. Tossed in some pepper, margarine, and parmesan cheese. Not the healthiest of additions, but if it gets me to eat it. LOL We'll also be having Maple syrup glazed chicken breasts and baby carrots. And I'm determined to get those steaks marinated this week -- perhaps tomorrow -- so we can finally eat them.

UPS still hasn't updated to say that my application to extend my vistor's status has arrived. But I think the site just hasn't been updated. I mean, Edmonton's only 100km away from Vegreville, where the envelope is going, and it's been in Edmonton since 4:47 am. It's gotta be in Vegreville by now, right? That's less than the distance between Mitchell and Sioux Falls, which only takes an hour to drive.
