OK, so ...

I have a plan for taking care of the Ring - some of you know it already. It's mucho drama and suspense and all that crap.

Alternatively ... we could just go the fun way with Zoey, if Zoey's mun likes the idea.

Or something else entirely - any suggestions?

Edit: Okies, never mind - looks like it'll be T_M Muses only, fair enough. Feel free to use ( Read more... )

I'm highly amused by Plan Zoey.

I think Zoey would be more than a match for the Ring!

Unless she puts the ring on and becomes All Powerful Tot Of Doom.

"You will all be my Daddy!"

What was the other plan?

All Powerful Tot Of Doom.

ROFLMAO! *gasp ... wheeze ... wipes eyes*

The other plan was to encase the Ring in some sort of magical mirror to reflect it's own power back on it. Hopefully distract it long enough to drop it in the fires of Mount Doom. Or, make the mirror a replica of the Mirror of Erised so the Ring thinks it's getting what it wants. THEN drop it in the fires of Mount Doom.

Rak and co. were hoping to contact Prof. Dumbledore and get his input, since he seems to be pretty hard on the case already.

Oooh! The Erised thing is a good idea. Craig Parker appears to be going after it with the Silmarils, and Sorcerer suggested tossing it into the center of a star.

I, uh, don't think Dumbledore is going to be much help somehow.

Ah, did he just get zapped? I haven't checked the Lockheart/Dumbledore thread for a while.

Craig and Morden are working hard, I see ... I'm assuming that the Ring's sticking with canon and can only be destroyed in Mount Doom, but if there's another way to knock it off, I'm all for that, too.

Lockheart's actually getting away at the moment (creepy ghost moment!) but the real reason I don't think he's going to be any help is 'cause he wants the ring for himself.

OH joy. OK, in that case - run, Gillyroy, run!

So, yeah ... my pups are mainly after the Ring because of what it did to KITT, and also the approach via DavidShaw and Mute_Clay is getting a little too close to home.

Any collaboration so the pups don't all get in each other's way is welcome.

Likewise; plus Mike kinda promised Draco he'd destroy the ring and he never goes back on his word, so he's wandering around setting people up to go after it. Which is why he wanted to talk to Rak, but mostly in a "Good plan, off you go, find next weapon" sort of way.

Can I put my two cents' worth in here and ask what will happen at the estate if Dumbledore gets the Ring?

KITT was promised he would be safe from the Ring there...

Dumbledore's way too smart to show his hand like that.

Hey, is KITT actually released from FLAG? Is that gonna stick? Mike give Lilah a large amount of money to do / try and do the same thing wholly above board.

Hmmmm. You are a very cryptic mun!! :)

So is that a 'KITT is STILL in danger from the Ring' kind of answer? :P

As for being released from FLAG - it seemed suspiciously easy to me. Somehow I don't think it's the real deal, do you? KITT is worth about $20 mil, easily... I can't see them severing legal ownership just like that when there is that much money tied up into him... not to mention the fact that Devon acted wholly without any sort of input from the Board...

Mike did that for KITT? Really? Is there a thread somewhere?

What a sweetie! And after KITT was such a bugger to him!

I don't think KITTs in any danger from the Ring unless he wants to be.

Naughty Devon!

Mike talks to Lilah. (Lilah also mentioned it to Alan, but I can't find that.) He did say he would.

Oh, I think KITT has had enough of that pesky Ring, thanks. :)

I just wonder if Ring!mun would agree. :-/

Yes, naughty Devon indeed... and this could be VERY bad for KITT's case, what's happened with this Ring business - coercing Devon like that...

KITT is very appreciative, and guilty for ever doubting Mike. Also, upset now that he probably blew his REAL chance for freedom.

*attempts to use brain powers on Ring!mun* *is thwarted by reality* *shakes fist at reality*

Up shit creak without a paddle, basically.

Well, if KITT ever discards his morals, Mike will quite happily mind-wipe every at FLAG for him.

Indeed!!! Damn Reality!!

Yeah. Basically.

Discards his morals?

Eep. *ahem*

Nah. Not KITT...?
