I'm a married woman now. A month and two days gone. It's still a bit strange. I kind of feel like it snuck up on me even though I had thought about it intermittenly for at least a year before it actually happened. Mostly it's the same, but there's a small mental shift that changes things in subtle ways. Everything is permanent now, we're in it for the long haul, and with that comes security and restrictions. I have to say it is very nice to have someone figuratively standing beside me, pushing me to excel and achieve while reminding me to curb my bad habits with 100% faith that we'll still be doing the same years down the road.
I'm taking two online classes this term, one in managerial accounting and one in programming with Visual Basic. Everything is pretty simple so far, but I'm looking forward to getting into more gritty topics.
