Man, please, everyone take care of themselves, if one more person gets sick or dead, I'm going to lose my mind.
My boss, Dr. Tomas Amos, died yesterday of a heart attack. He was the director of the special collections at the Library and President of the WMU Senate. He wasn't old, nor unfit, it was quite a surprise. People have been calling all day, it's so very sad. He was a smart, reasonable, kind, but above all humorous and funny man who was always making us laugh. The last thing he gave me was a pen he got me from a conference in Indiana, " It was a little on the expensive side, but I just had to get it." So funny, because the pen was just a plastic thing that said "Indiana...blah blah" on it. Oh, I'm going to miss him so much. What a sad thing to lose such an intelligent man.
