Bike ride adventure!
happy birthday binx! So yesterday was a nice success. I went downtown to the library lookin for more interesting books and i came across a book about making crepes and another about making your own gourmet tea. So i picked those up and when home and made strawberry crepes and ice tea!
Then later gabe and i went on a bike ride to specer lake. it was like 90 degrees yesterday! on our way we found a giant mountain of small rocks on the side of a road that was having construction done on it. so we climbed the hill announcing ourselves "king of the hill", of course. finally we got to the lake and rode around to the other side of the lake and watched the sky get crazy dark real fast and my parents called me a million times saying we should come home since, "there's going to be a tornado!!!" - parents. so eventually i listened when i felt like it. So we started back and it started to sprinkle... monsoon!! We started extreme peddling but it was no use: SOAKED. I couldn't stop laughing cause the rain was so powerful i couldn't even see i was putting my hand up as a shield but the rain was shooting me in the eyes. so after riding a while we made it to the point where the rain stopped and we could see where the rain started again so we playing in that a while going back and forth. Then we rode around the city for a while and it got dark for real and we watched the lightening while sitting on some boulders. Then again out of no where huge down pour and we raced back to my house.
As for today i went to the beach with michele! First sun burn of the summer~ ow ow ouch
