There are some things I don't get that the majority probably understands. Like drinking soda, especially on a regular basis. I don't see the point in spending money on something that's not beneficial health-wise (really the opposite), and I think it's especially impractical to be doing regularly. I'm sure you're getting plenty tons of sugar in ( Read more... )

That reminds me, why aren't you harping on people that drink tons of alcohol every weekend. I'm 100% sure that will kill them a bit faster than drinking pop regularly... Considering liver failure and drunk driving are killing people a lot more often than sugar overdose... Sure there's diabetes... but soda isn't the only thing you can get that from...

Well the difference between the two topics is that the reasons for drinking and effects on health are pretty well known. The reasons for drinking soda weren't really clear to me and I didn't understand the benefits.

I guess you don't need to be benefited to like something. Like it was said before, lots of people do things that aren't good for them, its a choice everyone makes.

It's a choice that everyone makes that's going to fuck them over. I agree in freewill, but there's no denying that the effects are overwhelmingly negative. What are the benefits? Usually I hear that it gives people energy, but there's so much more out there to supply you with that energy, in a fashion far more healthy.

I think you lost any sense of credibility in this comment alone. kthxbye is roughly 6-7 years old. And studies have shown that alternative schools can have better scores than "normal" schools.

Wow. Every time I start to respect you a little more you shit it down your leg by being hypersensitive and closed-minded.

How is this not real life? You think everything you learn is more true than what I learn? What gives you that right?

I believe people can go out and drink soda to their heart's content. I don't give a fuck what happens to them if after all the warning signs they collapse and die. That's none of my business, but if they come crying to me or anyone else for help they'd better realize they have another thing coming.

Insult my school again and I can't be held responsible for what I say.
