Harry POOTER

Ok, so, this is kind of irrelevant since I've officially put Harry Potter behind me and am quite pleased it's all over with, but I was in Sketcher over the weekend and had a small discussion about houses.

Why would anyone want to say they're in Slytherin? So many people have their characters wear Slytherin scarves (where did the scarf idea come from anyway? It's certainly not in the book) and they're all "But not all Slytherins are baaaad D: D: D:"
YES THEY ARE. They're all proven assholes. There is not a SINGLE good/nice Slytherin in the books, and those books are all we have to go by anyway. I mean, just now I'm trying to think of the nicest Slytherin I can and I can't. I don't care how much you like Snape, he was an ASSHOLE. He was only out for his own interests. So, um, WTF Harry, Severus was NOT a good guy to name your kid after. He didn't give one shit about Harry or anyone else, not even Draco or whatever. He only saved Draco because Dumbledore made him.

So, yeah. Draco was an asshole, Crabbe and Goyle were assholes, Pansy was an asshole, Lucius was an asshole, every single Slytherin was a mean person. Even if they didn't do anything actually EVIL they were all sucky people. So......... 8| Go sorting hat for figuring out which kids are mean bullies and stashing them all in one place.
From the Sorting Hat's songs:
"Or perhaps in Slytherin
You'll make your real friends,
Those cunning folks use any means
To achieve their ends."
"And power-hungry Slytherin
loved those of great ambition."
"Said Slytherin, "We'll teach just those
Whose ancestry's purest."
"For instance, Slytherin
Took only pure-blood wizards
Of great cunning just like him. "

Not good qualities 8|

...HOWEVER HUFFLEPUFF, BEING THE VERY BEST HOUSE, IS AWESOME.
HUFFLEPUFF YAY

Although, TECHNICALLY, I guess if I were really to be sorted, I'd be in Ravenclaw. 8| I just like Hufflepuff because its name is as crazy as HOGWARTS and its mascot is a BADGER.
Best house FTW.

harry potter, rambling, lulz
