So...
You get to college...but did you ever think to bring a tape measure with you? I mean, really, OF COURSE you're going to need one of those!! I need to find one of those to make a ground plan of my room. Unless I just use my 24" ruler to measure my room. THAT could be interesting. But I can't wait to get a tape measure, because I'm really excited about this assignment. I love doing this type of stuff!

I haven't updated in a while...as have quite a few of us. But I'll keep it short. I don't need to bore you with every detail of what I did over break. Went to the mall (of course!!), the 24 hour Starbucks from 1030pm-130am one night, Pearl, I unfortunately didn't get a chance to paint (boo!!), visited AHA and play practice, and as it turns out, I think I lied to them all when I told them I'd be coming to see the show. I'll get to that in a sec. Went into the city twice--saw Wonderful Town with the family (it was great!), and saw Fame again, but this time I sat in the booth with the STAGE MANAGER!!! That was definitely the highlight of my week. And there was also a fun road trip to Toms River with Cris, Kait, and Hilarie. But that's about the extent of it besides the 3 or 4 nights that I slept for 11 or 12 hours straight. :^)

This week is busy, but so much fun. I skipped studio today because I didn't feel like going. haha Yeah, pretty much. Lehigh got to the NCAA, and as Ryan put it, "this cinderella didn't just barely make it to the ball, when she got there she tripped on her gown and fell flat on her face (but a least she did get to dance for a bit) [ Go Lehigh. We're #65! ]" So I was at SigEp watching the game last night. Tomorrow night is opening night for Arcadia, a Tom Stoppard play...so you know I'll be there!! I love that man's work! The 80's dance party that I've been looking forward to all year, and have been planning for all semester is on Friday, which is why I can't come home Friday night to see the Anything Goes. And then it's hard for me to get home on Saturday only to come back on Sunday...idk. I'm still thinking about it/trying to work things out. But then That Fleeting World is playing on Saturday night, and I don't want to miss that either. I think I really need to set my priorities straight. Which, I think means that I'm staying in PA this weekend. Sorry guys. And dammit, I'm going to miss Battle of the Bands because I need to go home for my cousin's bridal shower which I have to be there for because I'm in the bridal party. Grrr. Why must everything I need to do conflict with everything else that I want to do?!?! AND...I was gonna help set up for Sundaze and stuff...and I'm still going to work on Saturday at the concert, but I found out that the SigEp formal is the night before...that is, IF I get invited. Which I'm not being too optimistic about at this point. ::shrugs:: I guess we'll see.

Again, I will complain about all the work I have to do for Drew...I have to read a book and write a paper on it, do some paint mixing/shading/gradient project, and draw a map of the play we read, Eugene O'Neill's "The Rope," which had an absolutely great ending! And then this ground plan of my room for Heather. I just need a goddamn tape measure!! And you'd think I'd have one! I mean, I have just about everything else here, right? Just not a damn tape measure. Oh well. I'll have to deal.

Tonight I'm going shopping for last minute 80's accessories/last outfit pieces. I've got it all worked out for the most part...but the most fun will be the makeup and hair. :^D

Okay, so Aly just imed me and told me that the show is actually really really good, and I quote, "set looks great, lights are "fabulous", sounds trying and the actors are good. lol" And holy crap..she sent me an absolutely fabulously orgasmic website! hahaha So I guess this means I need to show up this weekend then. Hm. I wonder if I can do a quick Sunday run? Because I really want to see TFW Saturday night since I can't go to MOnday's show since I'm not 21, dammit!
Unless....Holz...can you say I'm with you guys helping setup or something like that? OOH! OOHH!! Can I be a groupie?! Or can I just be someone who can get in there and say "I'm with the band"? dude, I'm totally serious about that. Let me know.

And I will let you go. You've dwelled on my life long enough for one day. Have a good St. Patty's Day, and don't drink yourself into oblivion, please.

Till next time . . .
