I can't believe it's almost all over.....again.

HOLY CRAP!
Is it really happening?!
Yes, I'm killing my precious time and writing a LJ entry.

We'll highlight things for now.

DIRECTING!
I'm directing a one-act, What I Meant Was by Craig Lucas. "What would happen if we all said what was really on our minds? A dark comedy about homosexuality, cancer, alcoholism, war, aids and other things families don't discuss."
My cast is Josh Senior, a cute freshman; Dustin McCrae, my roommate's boyfriend; Lauren Jones, a cute quirky junior; and Liz Roth, another cute quirky freshman. I am learning a TON, but I realize this isn't quite my thing. But it's almost over. Tech week starts on Monday, the show goes up on Friday, April 29, and goes until Sunday. Jake is coming out for the weekend :D as are Alex and Jerry :D :D I'm so excited for it all.

STAGE MANAGING!
I was officially asked to stage manage next semester's production of A Midsummer Night's Dream. It's going to be the biggest show next season. And I'm in charge of it. I'm freaking the fuck out, but I'm SO fucking excited, too. The director was my Intro to Acting teacher last semester, Christina, and I love her, and that's why I wanted to do this show. Plus nobody else wanted to do this large a show. It's so big I might have multiple ASMs underneath me. YAY :D So, design meetings for that are going to have to start up before we leave for the summer. And the show goes up mid-November.

MORE STAGE MANAGING!
This summer, I'm stage managing Leonia's Summerstage thanks to Ron who got me the job!! This year they are performing The Sound of Music. I'm also so pumped for this! It will give me different experience, working in a different environment with different people, and it might very well be like a mini AHA reunion. I'm very much looking forward to this summer job. Although I do need to find a second job. Boo :(

NIN!
So, the new NIN album, [with_teeth] doesn't come out until May 3rd, but Trent is awesome and released the album on his website for MAC users so you can take it and fuck around with it on the program that he assembled the tracks on. The coolest NIN fan ever, Tucker, downloaded it and changed the file type and sent it to me. So now I have the album almost a month before it comes out. And it's INSANE!!! I'm going to see NIN in Philly at the Electric Factory on May 19th with Tucker and his friend, Big Dave, and, quite frankly, I'm terrified of dying. But it's going to be so fucking fabulous!!!

ROB THOMAS!
Rob released his solo album on Tuesday, and it is also fantastic. I'm stuck deciding between listening to NIN or Rob, and it's a very hard decision! I just can't wait to hear these albums on real speakers. Or even in a car.

SUNDAZE!
Was another show stopping event. Cake, Gomez and Robbers on High Street performed, and I spent most of my weekend up at Sayre Field. Friday we set up the stage, I was there from noon to 7:30. On Saturday, I was at the field 6:30 am to 12:30 am. Yes, I was up that early and I stayed that late. It took us that long to get that damn stage down.

FORUM!
Yes, I DID see it 2 1/2 times. Because it was just THAT fantastic. I loved just about every moment, it kept me laughing every time, even though I had sat in on most of tech week too! Kudos to Jill and her entire amazing, wonderful cast! I love you all!

And then there's all the work I've been avoiding doing because I would much rather do all of my theatre stuff. Duh.

Well, one week left. It's CRAZY. And it's going to be the craziest week ever, too.

BUT I'M LOVING EVERY SINGLE MOMENT THAT I WASTE WITH THE PEOPLE THAT I LOVE!

I think that's all for now. I'm going to head to bed just to be woken up in a few hours by Ryan. Hopefully. If he really calls me when he's done with his work.

Much love to ALL.
arc.
