Free Fridays
Finally got the signatures and paperwork to drop macro today. Thank god. What a nightmare that would have been.
I'm so psyched....tomorrow night THAT FLEETING WORLD will be performing again!!
Do you know what that means?!
That means I get to see Holz again!!!
And I also get to see Ryan for a change. lol
That night is apparently also Caribbean Night at the house. Yay for mixed drinks! It's so weird...I remember Caribbean Night from last year--we all ended up dancing around to doo-wop songs after the party.
Then on Saturday, I get to trek into NYC with my two awesome roomies, my partner in crime, and other lovely theatre folk to see The Frogs with Nathan Lane. I am also very excited about that.
Then Saturday night is blacklight beirut. :) Granted, I don't drink beer, but the whole blacklight aspect of the party is a ton of fun...we all write on ourselves with highlighter and we GLOW! (Besides the fact that normal beirut parties are fine by me, as long as I get to watch my favorite boys play ::coughryancough::)
Oh, and now that I've dropped macro, I have no classes on Fridays. YAY FOR ME!!!
Rock the Vote was a logistic success, but the turnout was poor, and we are all pretty pissed at the students on this campus. But I enjoyed myself. Barely sat down all day, lifted heavy objects, and was very sore and achy Monday through Wednesday, but it was a good sort of pain. I definitely felt like I had accomplished something.
And fine, even though I AM a girl, and I'm not as strong as the boys, I believe I did do an incredible job of holding my own..., and then some.
I think that's about all the updating that I need to be doing. Things are still busy, I'm already not getting enough sleep, I'm still sick, and I think my cough is coming back. I just pray it doesn't turn into bronchitis like last time. :/
