[We open on a particularly adorable sight: a sleepy-looking Vulpix curled up around a bicolored egg (those of you who got the same one may recognize it as a Riolu egg). The camera jostles a bit, then pans around the interior of the Goldenrod Department Store, where Sakaki is standing in front of the counter looking at... CDs? After a few seconds, Sakaki notices the camera, turning to face it.]
Akira-chan? [She looks thoughtful for a moment, then sets the CDs in her hand down and walks over.] It has been too long, hasn't it? Thank you.
Hello, everyone. I'm afraid... I had another lapse in time, like that one strange weekend in November... only this one seems to have lasted much longer. I hope... I didn't worry anyone. [She bows to the camera, looking quite contrite.]
I'm still in Goldenrod currently. I've been looking over the "technical machines" on sale, the ones that allow Pokémon to learn new moves... But I'm having difficulty deciding. There are so many, and some of them are... hard to picture. [To herself:] Can Pokémon really affect the weather? Does anyone... have any recommendations?
