I need a place to write about something I want to draw to me.... Nope, I haven't been here for a while.... occasionally I read but I rarely post.
I see a house. It can be either an end of group townhouse or a free standing house. It is in good repair and has a lovely small back yard with small garden beds, a parking pad or a garage or excellent street parking, a deck or patio or porch. It has a beautiful kitchen, 2 bathrooms that are not cramped, and both that are in good repair and have great storage. It is in move in condition. It is in Parkville or Towson MD or near there. It is a good place to entertain and doesn't feel cramped. It has personality, and not wacked out personality like a house on acid. It is in our price range. It has 3 good sized bedrooms, and maybe a little bonus room for an office. It has a washer and dryer. It has a gas kitchen with lots of counter space and cabinets. It has an open kitchen or a pass through window, something that doesn't feel claustrophobic that has been renovated recently or is just really cool. It has hardwood floors for at least part of the house. It has an inviting basement where people would like to play board games or do witchy things or crafts. The roof, HVAC, water heater have been recently replaced. Things that would be nice? A strong community, long term tenants, a community feel, great storage, builtins, sunshine, good neighborhood. No fireplace, or a fireplace in the basement. perennial flowers in beds.
I can see this place. Every time we go see something I see more of what I want, more of what I don't want. So this writing exercise is to draw this to us. To call our home to us. And to do it as soon as possible.
