Oh LJ help me decide. I'm trying to figure out if I should get my lifeguarding and wilderness first responder certifications re-upped. It is about 1/3 the cost to recert vs cert but the certification is only good for 3 years. Honestly I haven't used my certs since the last time I re-upped, not really in demand as a grad student. I like the bragging rights but am wondering if the money won't be better spent on actually hiking and such. I can always take the class again from scratch if it becomes needful.
