and when it's slow...
i still made $50 in tips. off 3 tables. i <3 my new job. my theory (not actually mine) that rich people always have money was right. {and that the bars will not close ever...}
and i understand that blogging is 'over' now? i guess if i was into trends i'd care. but i like that i can go back YEARS on my journal & read my old thoughts. it's also useful for remembering silly stuff (like the kitteh's b-days) or actual stuff (like moving dates).
what i'd change; i'd have bombay gin & jack daniel's-- I'd have a blender & a trash can BEHIND the bar....i'd have a floor drain & non skid tile & drop in beer coolers. a low mixing bar shelf all the way around the marble bar top. i'd have a credit card micros where the servers can get to without coming into my bar.
it's not my bar--it's my bar to work. and since wine is our primary seller--it works fine. i don't think it could handle being an actual bar. it would swamp out really fast.
and i get to do lots of color today (yay!) and i only have to work one job. off to check ze lotto #'s. i finally rememberededed to buy a ticket.
