What's going on in Cat-land
I realize that it's been quite awhile since I actually updated this blog. Yeah... livejournal has kind of fallen off my radar lately, at least in terms of updates. Sorry. Of course, it doesn't help that livejournal is being terrible right now.
Things have been pretty busy around here. We have traveled quite a lot-- Bend OR, Portland/Vancouver several times, just got back from visiting my grandma in Wisconsin and are heading out next week for our annual Not Quite Camping Weekend. Yay vacation! Especially since the summer has been crap around Seattle-- I need some sun time!

In sports news: Aaron and I caved and bought season tickets for football, in addition to our basketball tickets. It just seemed like the right time. With the remodel of Husky Stadium coming up and the possibility that there might not be an alumni band anymore (or at least, the alumni band as we know it) and so we thought that if ever there was a time to do it, this was it. I'm still a little bit unsure about not playing with the band, because I love doing that and it will feel a bit odd. I do enjoy being a fan, but I also love to play and dance. We'll see how it goes.
In the meantime, Aaron has been way busy with work. Now that the 520 bridge bid has wrapped up, Aaron has been assigned as the QC officer for a job over at the Bangor Naval Base. Which is good, except for the fact that his schedule is crazy due to nuclear subs and whenever he has to be on site, he has to stay on the peninsula-- which can been for weeks at time. Ugh. Not awesome at all. At least I have Ollie to keep me company.

Nail polish blog is still up and running! I'm having a blast with it.
So that's about it! Busy busy busy. I can't believe summer is almost over, though I am definitely looking forward to the start of football again. Five weeks to go!
