Home From My Orientation.

I went to Spain orientation. Spain looks amazing. Im really excited about it. I cant wait to go to my homeland!
I went to see Sheena. It was exciting to get to see her again after like 2 years. She gave me a flower and I let her try the chocolate Gold Fishies that Alex's mom packed for us. I really liked her tattoo, but I dont think I mentioned that to her. O.o; I think I was concerned about the fact that I broke my flower, needed to find Memorial Hall and she needed to try the fishies. She gave us directions, but we got ourselves lost. We gave up on the car and parked it and went on foot... Got lost and eventually (after calling Sheena a few times) encountered another family that was lost as well and we formed a party and found the hall. It was an adventure. ^.^
Then we realized that we were really hungry. We walked to the Tolly Ho, but decided that we really didnt feel like eating there and went to CiCi's instead. Upon finishing with that, we wondered what else their was to do in Lexington and Alex seemed to expect me to know, but I really didnt... I spent most of my time stuck in an apartment for hours on end. Eventually we decided on going to a park. I didnt remember how to get there, so I took a route that I remembered having to drive through (for once Im glad I had to drive everyone and their mother all over the city for almost 2 years...) and found the park that was next to the Meijers and went there. We started jumping over streams and Alex kind of slipped and his shoe was covered in mud. It was pretty funny. We were there for a little over an hour, wandering around, watching people and talking before we left. Then we considered going to a movie theater. I didnt remember exactly how to get there. I simply let the old routine kick in and we found it. It was an amusing conversation...
Me: "We went too far."
Alex: "How do you know?"
Me: "We've reached a townish area. We went in the right direction. I know these places from routine which means that the sex toy shop I always had to drive by is farther up the road, which means we passed the Hooters which is where the theater is."
Yeah. Its sad the places that I ended up having to learn how to get to. We got to the theater and snuck in bag full of soda. We got popcorn, 2 tickets and a little extra soda for $7 which was cool. We went to see Gran Turino or something to that effect. It was a good movie. We left and thought we remembered a highway being nearby (we stopped at Hooters to get something to eat on the way home from a TKD tournament and I knew where we were because I recognized the movie theater and thus led the party to Hooters). We drove for a long time and realized that the highway wasnt the way we thought and so we kept driving. No matter. I found another place that I had to drive to every day for a long time and got us to another highway (I know how to get OUT of Lexington better than I know how to get TO Lexington) and we went home.
I actually enjoyed myself. I figured that after we were done visiting Sheena, it would suck from there since there really wasnt much to do. It was fun. Spain will be amazing. Im happy to be home with my Quetzalcoatl. ^.^
Have a nice day.
