We had a great weekend. On Saturday, we rose early (for a Saturday, I should say) and headed out to a yard sale that Andrew had found on Craigslist. It promised tools and old furniture, but by the time we arrived there wasn't much of interest. Then we headed to a huge flea market in Flemington- the Golden Nugget. It was our first time there, and we could have easily spent a bundle if we'd let ourselves get carried away. We emerged with a lovely green marble mortar-and-pestle set, purchased for the princely sum of $10. We stopped at the Newtown Amish market for a quick bite before the wedding at St. Mark's, and then headed home to crash.
Today, we had church, followed by lunch with Fr. Ted at New Hope's Havana restaurant. We honked around New Hope for a while, visiting that amazing bookstore on the main drag; I came away with a volume of Meister Eckhardt (my first) and in introduction to Dada and Surrealism. We dropped Fr. Ted off at the rectory and hung around the local Starbucks for an hour before Vespers. Then I came home and crashed, and am consequently wide awake and brewing a pot of iced tea at half past one in the morning.

Oy.
