didn't know I was THAT busy
Jeez, it's been almost two months since my last palaver delivery.
So, I've been teaching English to 10th and 11th graders. 80% of them seem not interested in education. Just hanging out until the last day. Waiting for the end of it all.
In my interview the principle told me that would be the challenge and I jumped at it. In theory, it is the sort of fight I think I'm equipped for. But there are some serious hard cases of resistant learners that have me near boiling point with their disrespect and obvious impending collision course.
Fuck.
Working on it. Lots of stories but I'll calm down before I share them because who wants to hear another whiny teacher?But there are plenty of good stories, enough to make it definitely worth the time and personal/emotional expense.
