Ruth Heirs Walsh
REIDSVILLE - Ruth Heirs Walsh, 84, a resident of Evergreens in Greensboro, NC, died there on Wednesday morning May 10, 2006.
Graveside services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, May 13, 2006 at Pinecrest Cemetery in Moultrie, Ga.
A native of Moultrie, Ga., she was a daughter of the late Phillip and Nancy McAfee Heirs and had lived in Reidsville, NC for the past 12 years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Moultrie and was a homemaker. Mrs. Walsh was preceded in death by her husband: Maj. Milton Richard Walsh, USAF.
Surviving is her son: Phillip E. Walsh of Brown Summit; granddaughters: Amy W. Jones and husband: David K. Jones of Reidsville and T. Sgt. Kimberley B. Walsh, USAF of Burkburnett, TX; great-grandchildren: Austin K. Jones and Claire E. Jones of Reidsville
The family will see friends from 6:00 till 7:00 p.m. Thursday, May 11, 2006 at Citty Funeral Home in Reidsville, N.C. Memorials may be made to the Air Force Aid Society, 241 18th St. Suite 202, Arlington, VA 22202.
