(no subject)
So yesterday was a rough day at school! By the end of the day I was ready for a drink! That doesn't happen often! We had our Veteran's Day Assembly yesterday and the Kindergarten kids all sang and did the signs to a short little song. They were cute of course! :) Then while the choir sang a song, they had a slideshow of pictures of family members who are in Iraq of the students in the school. I couldn't help but get a little teary-eyed cause I was thinking of Matt and praying that he comes back safely. Then I was just watching "Saving Private Ryan" on TV just now. It's a good movie, but I always cry! Probably not the best movie to be watching right now when I'm already worried about Matt, my uncle, and others that I know that are over in Iraq right now. I'm just hoping that I get to see Matt before he gets shipped out, but I haven't heard anything from him yet. I just know that he's at Ft. Lewis right now. It's been almost a year since I last saw him and heard his voice so I really just want to give him a hug and see him again while he's in Washington. Who knows if that will happen though!
Last night the old staff went to Tieton to Zak's house. It was fun to just hang out with the gang again. I kinda feel sad not seeing everyone every day like I'm used to. Now I come home to my little apartment to no one since Angela is never here. At times I kinda miss the RA job and dorms just to see people again and actually have conversation and people to hang out with that aren't 5 and 6 years old!
Nicole and I are going to Yakima this weekend to talk to some people about apartments. Nicole found a place that is pretty nice and fairly cheap so we're going to go check it out and see if they'll let us sign a 6 month lease since we're not sure where we'll end up if we get a job for next school year.
I'm waiting for a call saying that I'm an Auntie again! My sister is due on the 6th, but it'll be amazing if she makes it to Thanksgiving! I can't wait! :)
Other than that, not much is going on! Life is pretty boring! It's field trip day tomorrow to the fire station. Wish me luck that all the kids make it back alive! I may end up strangling one or two of them if it's a day like yesterday! Good thing I had today off!!
