(no subject)
Goin' home tomorrow for a long weekend! :) I'm so excited! kinda.... My mom wants me to go see the doctor for my back to make sure it's still good before I go off my parents insurance at the end of the year. So I have to head back to the doctor (well the one that took over after the one who did my surgery 8 years ago retired) to just get a check-up, but the only time they had available till teh 21st of Dec. (in which case I'm in Ohio at that time most likely holding my new nephews and NEVER letting go!) was this Monday at 3:30. So I'm heading home as soon as I'm done with stuff tomorrow at school, which could be at 1 or 2 since it's early release, and heading home. I get to see my nieces and sister too! I'll stay in Portland with Deanna on Sat. and Sun. since Jeremy (my brother-in-law) is in the Netherlands till next week for business so she could definitely use the help with the girls and I'm sure she's dying to see a real adult in the house with her rather than just seeing a 4 and 2 year old all day... every day! So it'll be a nice weekend and since I'm done with my unit plan I won't have too much to do! Just not looking forward to the doctor's appt in Portland and driving home Monday night all by myself. Eh, what can I do?! It'll feel like the whole weekend is spent at the doctors though cause to get the appt. at the Bone and Joint Clinic, I have to have a referral from my family doctor. So that means Saturday morning/early afternoon I have to go to that doctor and see him in order to go see the other doctor. All I know is that neither one of them better tell me anything is wrong! Cause if they do.... well then too bad! I'm not fixin it! I'm fine! I'm only doing this for my mother's peace of mind so she knows that things are okay with my back before I have no insurance and don't have the option of going to see the doctor.
In other news..... my kids are cussing up a storm! Well, not really... but i've heard a cuss word one too many times! One kid said "Bitch" the other week, and now today I had another kid say "shit". Of course those were automatic "Think Times" and both boys weren't too happy to be going. But they shouldn't have said those words! Which brings me to another thought! How is it that the one who said shit today can't speak English and understand English...or Spanish for that matter! (somewhat SPED kid).... BUT he knows the context and picks up the word shit?! Geez! I'm mean come on! They're 5 and 6 years old! Why are they saying those words?! I didn't even KNOW those words exsisted till I was 5th or 6th grade! (Probably cause I led a sheltered life.... but still!)
Let's see.... not much else to say now. Went swimming with Nicole, Angela, Jordan and Riley last night. Had a grand time playing water basketball! I was quite the agressive one let me tell you! A lot has changed since 5th grade I guess when I didn't even WANT to be put on the court or be passed the ball! I just stood out there hoping not to get knocked over and hurt! Yes, yes, I was a whimp! You shouldn't be too surprised to hear that! But last night...... no holding back now for me! Then we sat in the sauna and listened to some IDIOT talk about the Revelation and the Bible not knowing what the heck he was saying cause he's just a moron and then listening to the guys rant and rave about Bush getting elected. Ah shut up people! It's over with! Can't change it now so deal with it! I for one voted for Bush so I'm not too upset by the fact he was elected, but like Mandy and others have said, just deal with it and move on with your life! It was fun night last night but I woke up this morning without a voice... or at least a scratchy one... which wasn't good, but I managed to get through the day!
Now I'm off to watch ER, eat some popcorn, and head to bed! Have a great weekend everyone!
