(no subject)
Here's a little excerpt (?) from my email to Parker tonight. Just a lil' tid bit about my day at work today. :) Enjoy!
So I gotta work at 8 tomorrow morning. Hopefully it's not a repeat of today at work. Today I was in the toddler room helping get them down for naps when I smell a AWFUL smell... low and behold this kid has done a number in their diaper! Of course one in which I got to change. Then I move to the nursery to take over while someone goes on break. A baby starts crying, I pick her up... only to find that she made quite a mess that went all the way up her back! Luckily the other lady in the nursery took that diaper change! :) Then I move on to the class that I was with on Weds with 3 year olds and we're on the playground. Little Cody had something in his mouth. I saw him earlier on the playgroud eating dirt so I figured he was chewing on a bark chip. So Becca and I fight with him to get it out of his mouth... I finally get my finger in his mouth and find he was chewing on a BAND-AID! Disgusting! Becca and I were totally grossed out! No clue where he got the band-aid cause he didnt' have one on so he must have found it laying around somewhere. Ugh! All in all though it was a good day. I LOVE being in the nursery. That's where I was most of the summer when I worked there after freshman year and I kinda miss it. But I enjoy the toddlers and 3 year olds too though. :) (even if they can be extremely disgusting at times!) K! Time for bed!
