Since Zayne's back in town and has a business, it's probably time to run through some stuff in an infopost.
Goodvalor's Little Bivoli is a new restaurant with a moddable selection of Earth foods. The cooking droids are quite good and can make pretty much anything. The specials, however, will always come from
the galaxy far, far away. There may not be a real description for the food on that list. But that's not going to stop it from being a special.
Hours: Goodvalor's will be open for lunch, dinner, and special parties by request with the normal operating hours of 11-11. Right now I'm planning for Zayne to post it Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday, but that can change with little warning as I figure out my best schedule. Goodvalor's IS hiring for any day, so it will also open on whatever other days I can get some employees.
The Look: Goodvalor's looks pretty much like you see
here and
here, only WAY smaller. The color scheme is primarily gunmetal (since it is just a converted mess ship) and blue (for accents). And there are lifesize statues of Commander Goodvalor and Captain True out in front, like small versions of panel 1
here. It's basically a PF Chang's from space feel with those things instead of horses. Please note that there is a plaque by the statues that gives a brief and not terribly helpful explanation of who Goodvalor and True are. I'll explain that another time for anyone who didn't read my last few canon posts.
Mod Your Service: Goodvalor's does have a serving droid, GG-54 (bottom panel
here) that will welcome you, take your orders, and bring out your food if you'd rather mod your service (or if the scheduled employee needs to put up a modding post). You can call her Gigi. She is very personable.
Seriously, though, help wanted: I'd like to have Goodvalor's posted more days than not. If you're interested, let me know OOCly or just hit Zayne up ICly.
And now to Zayne himself....
The past year.... In brief, since Zayne graduated from Fandom, he failed his Jedi Tests, witnessed the murder of his fellow Padawans at the hands of their Masters, was the most wanted felon in the galaxy after being framed for those murders, uncovered a massive conspiracy within the Jedi Order and brought it down to clear his name, also brought down the head of the largest corporation in the galaxy as well as the oldest slaver ring in existance, provided an opportunity for the Mandalorian Wars to really kick off, witnessed the destruction of two planets and billions of lives, started a largely legal business and a secret agency, escaped or helped others escape imprisonment at least six times, and had a dueling record against Jedi Masters and Sith Adepts of 5-1-1 (although he didn't win a single fight on his own and, in fact, should have died in all of them but 1). The only person to live after dueling Zayne (although Zayne didn't kill any of them) was his Master Lucien, who everyone thinks is dead.
He also earned the trust of a future Dark Lord of the Sith and earned a favor from the strategic commander of the Mandalorian forces, Cassus Fett (which he has cashed in). It's been an eventful year.
And after all of that, Zayne's come out of it more confident in himself, more understanding of his abilities, independent from the Jedi, and with a sweet swoop bike. He's back in Fandom for a good long while to run the Fandom franchise of Goodvalor's, and he's happy to be here. Although he may be called back to do secret agent work or tutor other Jedi learners who need a little help from someone who understands not having the right skills.
Any questions?
