Final Otakon report and a few other things~
Woo~ I fail at LJ haha....
ANYWAY. I'm going to just finish up my Otakon hoo-ha in this journal because I don't feel like making a bunch of other entries for it. :B /lazy.
Where did I leave off...OH YES. Saturday. Umm...woke up around 10 or so, got into our Ace Attorney gear, went to the convention center, and diddled around until the time for the AA shoot. Everything was cool then FIRE ALARMS. But that's all I'm going to say about that, haha. Anyway, after a short delay, the AA shoot was back on track, then more diddling around until later on when we got into our Silent Hill stuff and I did a full 180 with my look from being a cute, shy girl, to a creepy old Kurt Cobain. Silent Hill shoot was poopy, so all of us friends just had our own mini-shoot, so to speak. :) I got strangely good reception for my Walter cosplay, haha. Walter gets all the ladies, and a few gents, too. After the shoot adjourned, our lovely group went for dinner at a wonderful seafood restaurant then returned to the convention center for fun times.
SUNDAYYYY we were woken up by the sweet smells of Beth's room service breakfast and bawwwed. Ashley and Beth got up and ready before us for a doll meet Beth was planning on going to, so Sarah and I used that time to get our shit together and get dressed in our ~fabulous~ Gayass cosplay. After bringing our stuff down to the car, we returned the room key to Ashley and Beth and then continued on to the convention center for one final hooray. Mostly we just went to the dealers room so I could buy our goodies then hung out and longed for Starbucks, whose line was infinite. After a little less than an hour, the gang showed up and Lyse took some photos for us~ (thank you! <3<3<3) Thennnnn we dicked around some more and afterwards went to the Cheesecake Factory for a final lunch together before we all parted ways~
Later on we made it back to Heather and Rachels where we crashed once again for the night, and left the next morning around noonish. :D Stopped in Columbus for some tasty bubble tea (which I've never had before!) and made it back to Dayton around 6. Then dad and I went to return the rental car, only to find out it was supposed to be returned by 4:30 (which the enterprise lady never even told us when we rented it in the first place :P) and the place was closed so we had to park the car and put the keys in the slot thing. They did end up charging me extra for being late, but it wasn't too bad. Then I unpacked and slept a good sleep.
AND THAT WAS OTAKON. Sorry for being slow, then writing a crappy entry but I'm tired so hahaha... Work's been picking up again, and mom's getting ready to move for reals in the next couple weeks, so I've been busy since I've been back basically. Brandon helped me mind a moving sale yesterday, though only a few things sold, and not the important, big items, either. :/ But those will just go to Goodwill, so meh.
MUGI STILL HASN'T COME YET BAWWW. ;___;
blehhh I'ma stop now. Too tired from working pushing carts in 90+ degree weather for 7 hours. Just wanted to get that out of the way and such. Probably will make another more coherent entry soon when I feel like it. But for now, aideu~
