1. I live in Ulthar, the City of Cats
2. I am from the World of the Deep Slumber.
3. Only expert dreamers can get in my land
4. Randolph Carter the Dreamer is my best friend - and the best friend of all cats of Ulthar.
5. I enjoy journeys to the Moon
6. Zoogs from the Enchanted Wood are my favorite food
7. But if anyone gives me a saucer of rich cream I’ll appreciate it!
8. Toad-things from the Dark Side of the Moon are my bitterest enemies
9. I dislike Cats from Saturn. They’re so creepy!
10. I sometimes visit the Waking World, but I don’t enjoy it very much. It’s too boring!
11. As a rule, cats of Ulthar don’t associate with ghouls, but I’d love to make friends with some of them, after all. They’re so funny at times. Furthermore, they befriend Randolph Carter.
12. I could turn into a human if I wanted.
13. I don’t believe in Cthulhu (but if I lived in the Waking World I would, perhaps!)
