Layout is Fixed!

A HUGE 'Thank You' to sireesanwar for troubleshooting and updating the code for this layout so the background works properly! I love the design and it is available at layout_lounge in THIS entry if you want it for yourself. I made my own header of course, but the rest of the elements can be found there.

I guess I have to learn when to stop messing with buggy code and just quit. For some reason I always think at first its something I must have done that's screwed it up. And I spend way too much time on it, only to find out its not me that's the problem. So I'll stop spending hours messing with code that is obviously broken. Duh.

I was sleeping really well until a rep from one of the cable companies was going door to door knocking and bothering all my neighbors. Cedar Rapids has 2 cable companies, and he works for the one which provides really crappy tv reception (according to my landlord). I can't justify spending $100 a month on cable, so I watch everything on my 13" Macbook. As long as I'm able to do that, I'll spend my hundred bucks on something else, like for instance this week I'm taking Basil to the vet for his annual vaccs and rabies booster.

Fortunately I was able to go back to sleep once the knocking stopped (I could hear him making the rounds of my building), and for the first time this week I awoke nightmare free.

How are things with you this week? Any house showings scheduled?

Glad you had a nap without nightmares! But bugger about the salesman knocking door to door waking you up!! Thankfully I live out in the country on a dead end culdesac on a little mountain, we don't get door-to-door sales anything! Cable is expensive - I pay them the most every month! I have phone, TV and internet through Charter - I need the high speed connection for work.

I have a lot of fires to put out this week - more work than I really am comfortable dealing with, but I need the income. So I'm rushing around and unfortunately made a few mistakes that I'm not having to rush to correct and get to the printers.

No house showings...and I'm actually glad as I don't have time for those interruptions!
