My latest project: book trailer for Harold the King
Today my latest book trailer was unveiled. I created it for UK author Helen Hollick who wanted it released January 6, 2011 to coincide with the 945th anniversary of the coronation of Harold II (Harold Godwinsson, King of England). I created the video with ProShow Producer and the score is an original composition by Bronwen Harrison written for the forthcoming film, 1066. For more information on Harold, visit Helen's blog HERE. I have a lot to accomplish this month as I work to design two websites for one client and continue to build the pages of another client's large website. Thank you to all of those who continue to support and encourage me in my creative endeavors.
I am considering no longer using the LJ community that I created for Avalon Graphics as I never have gained much membership there. Any opinions on that? I think the majority of you who follow my design business do so via Facebook and Twitter. Perhaps my focus should be there in marketing myself as a designer.
EDIT: Just to be clear: I am not talking about closing THIS journal. Only considering no longer updating avalongraphics since I have so few members there. This is my personal journal and I would quit Facebook, Twitter and all the rest before I'd ever consider closing this one. It is my sanity and where I stay connected to my dearest friends. ♥ I love my flist here! And I apoligise if anything I've written gave any other impression. I am overly stressed right now so no doubt I am not communicating all that well. I just wanted to share with you my latest work today.
