GOING WEST . . . (or North of the River)

Dec 19, 2006 11:06

Dan and I have still not moved into our new place yet but have been doing a lot of talking and . . .

. . . I am partially moving into his Hounslow flat on Saturday and should be fully moved in by the first Friday in January. He didn't want me to be apart from him a moment longer.

Miss Kitty is already there and looks quite the queen she is, reclining on the sofa and living a life of luxury (Dan spoils her rotten).

Hopefully we'll move into our new pad at the end of next month or, if it all falls through as the situation has become rather pear-shaped in recent weeks, then we'll find somewhere to rent in West London. In the meantime, we shall enjoy watching aeroplanes fly overhead as they take off and come in to land at Heathrow. That and the joys of Flight Simulator.

In many ways I am sad to be leaving Diane's, I love both she and Dee to bits and I have had many happy times there, but I'm entering a new chapter of my life which they realise and respect, and it's time to move on . ..

It's not like we'll never see each other again, since I'll only be the other side of London and they are my "Sistas" so I hope to see them often. They are amazing women and I'll love and respect them always.

And they are cool about it because they know I'm leaving them for an amazing man.

Catherine.
