Well, that was fun!
K and I just got back in from a play date next door. The twins and their little sis, collectively known around here as the Ms, have a pair of friends over for a sleepover, and their guests' mom brought their brothers with them for a while before she left. The littlest M immediately snatched up the boys and ran them around the yard til they dropped, as the older girls apparently don't play rough enough to keep her interested. Believe me, you have not heard a proper howling, squealing, conniption-style, keep-an-eye-out-for-cops-cause-you-know-somebody's-gonna-call-'em-if-this-keeps-up commotion until you've heard K, five girls, two boys, and three dachshunds simultaneously dancing. On a trampoline. I was put in charge of making the leaf pile as tall as possible so the girls could all get in a couple rounds of diving practice before dinner. Truly a large time.
The Mini Mac I ordered Sunday online has officially been upgraded to the new model, since it hadn't shipped before the discontinued date of the one I thought was plenty fancy enough already. I'm getting 10% more speed, 30% more hard drive, and twice the RAM, at the same price. And it shipped today from Memphis, so I have my Saturday morning all lined up.
