End of September, and Yuletide Treasures is lumbering into motion like a very cheerful juggernaut.
I actually nominated some fandoms, this time around. Um, Baldur's Gate, because why not, The Chronicles of Tornor, because I remember them fondly from when I was a teenager, and I can't remember the others right now.
Have been lurking on some of the conversations on LJ. Yuletiders are all so... bouncy. Even down in the basement the Yuletide-coalers are predominantly friendly and supportive. That just feels wrong.

Have been stuck doing the same move in T'ai Chi for at least three weeks (single-whip-in-low-stance, or snake-creeps-down, if anyone's interested) and have singularly failed to get bored because it's really hard. (And a good stretch, as well, so there's that.) Have seen the light at the end of the weirdness with Golden Rooster just this evening. I promised myself cheesecake for reaching the end of each section I'm learning, and I can almost taste the creamy cheesy goodness...

There's a half-repaired doll with purple hair on the mantle, and my sister's cat is curled up, quite sweetly, on my lap. Dealing with the one is precluded by the other. I'll get to Elspeth tomorrow.
