Well, then. I failed at trying to post more in April (though two is better than nothing, I suppose). But for the last week and some, I can at least blame computer troubles.
Same for not get past a few pages of script; I don't work well on paper. I had a few extra storylines assail me during the last half of the month; I still having gotten much of any of them down on paper/screen. I am starting to get my concepts of the characters in my script into lineart; that I do on paper, then ink, scan, and clean up digitally. I'm planning to try Artgrind again this year, but with my main character this time; if anyone noticed Anna, I'm afraid they're going to think this is the same girl, because I have a fairly bland but recognizable sketch style.
And I'm struggling to reply to a bunch of email-ish things. And my mom wants me to illustrate a short story that I wrote...quite a few years ago--but I can't settle on what exactly a sentient Dustbunny looks like. And I have the theme for Star Trek: Next Generation running through my head. Over and over and over and over...
And I'm hungry, so I'll go see what I can feed my sister (she chose a college! hurray! =D ) since my mom already stated that she had a big lunch and will not be making supper.
Oh, yeah; the Sunday school lesson and sermon this morning were both very well done and gave me some scripture references I'd been needing. And my dad left early this morning for a week long fishing trip, so "we girls" are all on our lonesome--yippee! And, just so you know, the local world went from smelling light and spring-ish for a week or two, to feeling, looking, and smelling like summer for the past long while. Today was supposed to be one of our coolest days, and ended up with a high of 70-something. And I am not complaining; I was cold yesterday.
Thusly ends my update.
Love,
Alli
