V-Day Wilkes-Barre 2006 presents The Vagina Monologues. Until the Violence Stops
The show is based off of Eve Ensler’s award-winning play, “The Vagina Monologues,” and is being performed to help raise money and awareness for local organizations working to stop violence against women and girls.
Guys don’t be freaked out, its not a “man-hater” kind of deal, some of its silly, some of its sad, but the whole point of the show is to give you a perspective into the lives of all different types women.
"There are 24 Domestic Violence related Police Calls Per Day in Luzerne County.
Because of underreporting or lack of police referral, the actual number is believed to be significantly higher." DVSC Statistic 2004
Tickets are $25 a pop which seems really steep, but you have to keep in mind that its a charity. If you want to go, you have to get a hold of me before Wed. Feb 8th so i can get the tickets for you :-D
