Drabbles - Merlin & Fringe

Mar 07, 2011 14:06

Okay, so I kind of forgot to bring my laptop with me to work today. I also kind of forgot to send any updated copy of anything with me to work today. In an effort to indulge keep my ADD at bay, I wrote a couple of drabbles - I first posted them separate but think I managed to get the formatting for them to be together now. I may be willing to take prompts at this point because, really, long day is looong.

Title: Shared
Genre: Slash, Arthur/Merlin
Rating: PG-13
Length: 100 Words (drabble)
Synopsis: It’s different when it’s shared.
Author’s Notes: For the merlin100 challenge of “sharing”
Disclaimer: I do not own this interpretation of the myths and am making no profit from this.

It was different, really, the way the wine trickled from the warm cavern of Arthur’s mouth and into his own, the coolness dimmed but the flavor somehow more vibrant and bold, the soft press of Arthur’s tongue against his lips and palate distracting enough to let a few drops escape. Merlin chased after those drops, licked his lips and watched Arthur’s eyes, bright with amusement, follow the movement.

“Really, Merlin,” Arthur drawled as he leaned back in his chair, twirling the goblet idly in one hand. “If you had wanted me to share, all you had to do was ask.”

Title: Whatever Gets You Through
Genre: Gen
Rating: PG
Length: 100 words (drabble)
Synopsis: Astrid has her methods.
Author’s Notes: For threnodyjones’ prompt of “Astrid”
Disclaimer: I do not own these characters and am making no profit from this.

Astrid closed her eyes and counted to twenty. When that didn’t work, she counted to fifty. And, when that didn’t work, she mentally derived the square root of 4374 to the fifteenth decimal. She reminded herself that she was a trained professional with multiple degrees working for the FBI, not a babysitter. She also reminded herself of the multiple raises and bonuses Director Broyles kept giving her.

That last one helped the most.

With a sigh, she turned to where Walter was scrubbing the juicy flesh of a cantaloupe off of her laptop and figured it could have been worse.

Feedback, as always, is welcomed.
