goodbye summer 2005
As I finish up my last day of work this summer, I feel a little sad actually to see it end. This summer has been absolutely awesome...I couldn't have wished for a better one. I really hate to see it end. =/ But, I know this school year will kick ass as well...at least I'm hoping so. *haha*
I'm come to truly appreciate this town this summer. I guess since it's the last period of time I'll actually "live" here. But honestly, this is a great area...and I'm proud to say this is where I grew up. I wouldn't have wanted to grow up any other place. =)
With that said, I'm ready to return to Blacksburg. I've missed it, no doubt. It's definitely gonna take me a while to get used to all the walking around campus again... by the time I was fully used to it, it seemed like the year was over. lol
Ok so yeah, the fair SUCKS. Wow. And for the rest of you Cyclops junkies like myself, I checked with a carnie last night about what happened to it...yeeeah it's at Gray, along with the freakin' ferris wheel! We seem to lose rides every year!! What's up with that?? Apart from going Wednesday to the pageant, I doubt I'll return this year. It's a total waste of money. And now it's not $5 to get in, it's $6. WTF? Yes, I realize that's only a $1 more, but every little bit counts these days, what with gas costing an arm & a leg.
I'm gonna miss Sara like crazy when I leave. :( I've seen her pretty much every day this summer... it'll definitely be hard to not see her near as often anymore. But, she's supposed to come to Tech a lot, so that'll be awesome!! *hehe*
I really need to get in touch with Christina. I think we've played phone tag and never caught each other. *shew* Hopefully I'll get in touch with her the next couple days!!
"I'm like a bull...I'm attracted to red...just so you know." *hahaha* Quality.
And I'm surely gonna miss our *double winkies/hand waves*!! awww. :(
Shew, now I'm all sad...so I think I'll end this here. I'll write a real update later this week that's not so out of order & random. ;)
