Title: For Once In His Life
Rating: T
Warning:Not much o.O… Maybe hard feelings and the Spock’s decision …and yes, feelings xD!

For Once In His Life
Spock was never one to complain. But this time, after what his father had told him, he desesperately wanted to say something. It was as if a big ball of resentment and need to reply sharply was growing inside of him.
‘’Why do you hold so many grudges towards this subject, Father?’’
His father, who was walking away, turned round and with a harsh voice said : ‘’I do not think this is a matter to be thouroughly explored again, Spock.’’
He gave one last rough look at his son then walked out of the room. Spock mumbled about him not being able to express his thoughts, which was almost an insult made to his self, then walked a few feet until he reached the stylish sofa and sat down.
He leant his chin against the palm of his hands and thought about all this, sadly.
He was 25 years old and had never thought of confronting his father until…this day. He had always been a righteous, go-getting, polite and obedient person. Obedient to the Vulcans’ culture, to his father’s expectations and sayings… because he wanted to be perfect, to impress; he wanted to be accepted. But today, something in his mind and body was telling him to rebel, urging him to. It was overwhelming him and taking over him. There was no denying even if he tried hard.
‘’Why does he not understand that I need to do this? I need it in order to elevate myself, in my spirit and in my mind…’’
He thought like this for many minutes; mostly for about an hour. In fact, he mulled over it, going through every side of the subject; every sentence, every word, every thought concerning this touchy matter was observed. He went through all of it with a fine-tooth comb accompanied by his consternation and confusion.
He took a deep breath, released it, then shook his head. ‘’I guess I will go and get another formal meeting and I will declare to him I decided what my future will be…’’
He mustered all of his courage and the stood up. He checked his clothes, worried about being perfectly presentable. Spock stiffened up then began to walk towards the door.
It stung at his heart when he looked at it. All of this, it was just so… sad and confusing. He had never really used the word sad, but that was it. He felt it through his entire 25 years old body; it was like electric shocks and a huge uncontrollable shaking on the inside of him but he still wore his neutral and perseverant face on. He felt confident and for once in his life, may he be considered a rebel since he was so young in age for the Vulcan people, he wanted, needed to decided what he was going to do. And this, even though people would disagree…
He opened the door and walked out of the room. His stroll was leading him, stressed out, towards his improvised meeting. He was going to inform his father of his choice of life and career even though he was sure he would not like to hear this. But he was going to do it anyways.
For once in his life.
He saw his father at the end of the corridor. He stopped and called out to him.
‘’Father!’’
Sarek slowly turned round and gave his son a stern look. Seeing how he would have to be the one getting closer in order to get his son to speak, he began to walk.
When he arrived in front of him, both gave each other a piercing look.
‘’ What is it, Spock?’’
Spock stiffened up, took a good breath then went on with his speech.
‘’Father, I will go to StarFleet Academy. And I intend to become a scientist on a starship. I hope you will, someday, understand my need towards it. And, this is not an insulte to you nor to the vulcan people. I only chose for myself…’’
He paused a bit, breathed deeply as his father’s emotionally confronted eyes were fixed on his, and kept on.
‘’Since my mother is human and that I have been educated on Vulcan, I think that I need to discover more about the Earth and the humans’ way of living as well as their mentality; My other side.’’
He nodded a little vengeful and successful smile and then walked away, his father frozen on the spot, still looking at his son from afar…
Spock was proud.
For once in his life, he had stood up and decided for himself.

Title: The Truth Is...
Rating: T
Warning: Swearing and many vulgar words. When McCoy is angry, it's not nice to see O_O *no, it's heartbreaking :(*

Special Notes : I've always wondered about what happened with McCoy's life BEFORE StarFleet when I saw the Nu!Trek...why did he lose her? And remember, in my story that explains it all :D, she did not cheat on him...she used him! Mean persons, you know.. And I named her Janice because I HATE her in Heroes and she's been SO MEAN to Matt -.- Which I love a lot..

Here you go! Enjoy! :D

The Truth Is...
McCoy took a suitcase out of the closet and roughly put it on the top of the drawer. He noticed a frame with a picture of him, his wife and his cute little daughter, Anna. They were smiling on the photograph, it was as if they felt perfect happiness... He sighed and gave many looks at the door. McCoy grabbed the little frame and rageously went out of the room.

''Why did you do that, Janice!? Why the fuck!?'' he spat two feet away from this woman, swinging furiously the frame he had in hand right in front of her face.

His face was red with anger and pain as he thought of all this. Everything they lived together, the memories, the good times, their achievements, their family and mostly...their daughter. His daughter.

''I did this because you're so stupid and soft, Leonard!'' she spat in his face.

He flickered a bit, eyes wide open in shock. He regained control a few minutes later and then shouted at her.

''But why our daughter?! Why did you have to go and get my daughter away from me?! WHY?!''

The pain was overwhelming; It had always been but now it was just too much...too heartbreaking for him.

''Why can't I see her no more?! Keeping her to yourself! FUCK YOU! I LOVE HER!!''

His daughter...
His family... his dear daughter.

''No one would ever replace replace you, my dear.'' he thought.

''I'm pretty much sure I love her way more than you! At least I wasn't going to stop you from seeing her even if YOU'RE the bitch! You stepped on me! You ridiculed me and used me with NO SHAME AT ALL!'' he spat with ovious rage at her treacherous face.

He sighed and turned round to face the bedroom.

''And to think I loved you...''

''Leonard!'' she screamed in a worried and shameful voice while running towards him, panicked.

She felt a rush of compassion, care and sadness for the man she hurt like no one could ever describe it.

''WHAT?!'' he aggressively asked in a loud voice such as one had never heard him use.

Her face went blank then upset as she disgustingly spat at him before leaving, arms in the air as a sign of despair. ''Pff! It's no use trying to talk with you!''

''Yeah...''

McCoy glanced at her meanly as she left then went back to his suitcase while mumbling the vulgar and enraged rest of his sentence.

He opened the first drawer and threw all of his clothes there were in his suitcase. He didn't care if they got rumpled or torn a bit. No, he just wanted to get the damned hell out of there!

After about 2 minutes of scrambling clothes and medical books he had found on the one shelf there was in the room in his suitcase, he quickly looked around to see if he hadn't forgotten anything.

It was there he remembered the family picture he had left on the drawer some minutes earlier. He turned a bit to his left and grabbed it.

His eyes were fixed upon it... he had so loved it. All the memories, good and bad, passed through his mind and in front of his eyes.

After a while spent staring at it, he decided to put it down.

''No, it's better if I go and forget her... And thus, she won't remember her crappy father.'' he murmured with bitterness.

''She used me because I was way too soft and kind-hearted?! Well...guess what?! I'll change! And people in StarFleet won't even know... they'll think I'm one hell of a grumpy, hard-hearted and egoistical doctor!'' he thought, furiously.

'' Since I can't destroy my nature, and that's damn well too bad!, I'll put up a front of lies!''

And then, he grabbed his suitcase, gave one last look at the house where had dwelled his life for a long time. His new life was about to begin. Away from this one...

and into StarFleet!

----------------------------------

Other notes : I decided to write for both of them how came they got into StarFleet and mostly McCoy for it always....captivated me o.O! And I decided to name his daughter Anna for I love this name :D! Everyone thinks McCoy is SO MEAN and doesn't care about anyone..but that's SOO NOT TRUE D: He cares too much but just doesn't want to let it show :O! That is why! And I'm rpoud to say : My mom saw it right away..McCoy's front of grumpiness and that he's sooo soft-hearted and caring :)! Yep! :) So did I :D I love him so ^^! And Spock too :P! See ya peeps!
