(no subject)
WOW...I have not updated in well...FOREVER. I don't even know where to begin...Wednesday I went to a meeting for the American Marketing Association (AFTER having Taco Bell in the Russell House...YUM) which was really awkward but it'll look good on my resume. Luckily, John H came so we hung out for like and hour there waiting for a speaker or someone to talk...and FINALLY the president stands up and is like..."Thanks for coming, there's a meeting next week...hope y'all come!" John and I both were like...ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! We wanted to leave so bad...haha oops. Free food though...muaha. Life of a college student, huh? Anyways, THURSDAY KICKED ASS. I skipped my last 2 classes...(HELLO, it was GAME DAY!)...and then around 4 or so Marine and I went to the 6th floor with Chris to get James, Jason, Frank, and Eric and we all piled into Chris's Honda Accord...which was freakin hilarious...we definitely felt like MExicans. The best was when we pulled up next to the cop directing traffic and he was like..."So uh, how may people you got in that car?!" Oooooopsies. Obviously he didn't care...once again...HELLO, it was GAME DAY. We finally parked and went to go meet some guys to tailgate with them but along the way we met some super cool guys that were so drunk that they kept offering us more beer so we were all for that. So tailgating was fun...lots of rock paper scissors, pictures, game....cocks, etc. Then we headed over to the stadium for the game, which was AWWWESOME....we WON! Friday wasn't too bad...I just had 2 classes and then I left for Chatt-town...which was the BEST because I got to surprise Keith cause he still thought that I was going to Greenville...which was fun because I usually can't keep secrets. I went out to dinner with Mom, Chip, and Jody and he called and i was like..."Yeah, I'm out to dinner with Marine and her family..." and he asked how the weather in greenville was and i was like....hmm, cooler than columbia. good story, i know. ANYWAYS, i went to old navy at 11 and stood out by his car (I know, stalkerish, huh?) and it was SO funny. he and caleb started walking towards his car and he said that caleb was like..."that's catherine...that's her car..." and keith was like.."no, catherine's in greenville..." and he said he was like...squinting and i started walking towards him and saw that it WAS me and started running towards me and picked me up...it was so awesome. i was so proud of myself for surprising him! it was so good to see him, too. it was funny bc we talked on the phone the night before and he wa slike..."i missss you!" and i was like..."i miss you too..." and then thought to myself "muahaha, not really cause i'll see you tomorrow...hehe" needless to say, it was awesome.
TODAY...keith, sarah cate, and i had lunch at AMIGOS...that was SO SO good. i needed that. then sarah cate and i went shopppppping at target and old navy! yay! then i met rach for dinner at tony's pasta which was awesome. i missed her so much and i hate what she had to go through with tulane. but i am also glad that she has a solution. she is definitely making the best of the situation and i love how selfless she is being. i know that sounds weird, but i could tell how badly she wanted to help the people in new orleans and how much it truly pained her that she couldn't.
anyways, keith is comin up for the night so i'm gonna go!!
