Well folks, I think my Conby muse has played out. I still enjoy reading the stories a great deal, but I think I'm done writing them. At least for a bit. My last fic did horribly, and I don't quite know why. Maybe people just aren't reading Conby as much, but even people that regularly comment and review didn't on this one. I wasn't feeling writing

I was late getting up this morning. Late getting online. Late accessing live journal. Of course I've been late to just about everything this month. Almost late writing my secret santas, certainly late reading them. It's just been one of those long drawn out periods of time that I'm glad is coming to an end - one week to go and my world is back to it's normal schedule.
That said, I read this post this morning and stared blankly at your words, filled with sadness because you have always, always been one of my favorite Conby writers out there.
Not that I have the right to be sad. My muse packed up and fled Conby two months ago, and I had to force her out to play this month. I have three wips that need to be finished, but I've given up trying to force her. She's not happy playing with Connor and Abby, nothing's going to make her be until she's ready to be again.
So I understand. Completely. But I'm still sad.
I just read Trust all the way through today, and it was lovely. Don't convince yourself it was anything but great, because it was a really nice piece - all three pieces!
Anyway, point in fact, you're a wonderful writer, and I will miss your Connor and Abby tales, no matter how long it takes me to read them. Whether you feel it anymore or not, you've never disappointed.
The best I can wish is Good Luck in your current writings, and if you cycle back around to a little Conby fun... send out a fireworks show or something, because I don't want to miss it. :)
