Apostate
Betrayal... sharp, biting, rough edges that cut and gouged his heart. He'd loved her... loved him, too. Loved them still, truth be told. Nothing simple... no black and white. Red for rage and gray for motives. He'd been a sentimental fool to fall for her lies and deceptions. She'd used him then, years ago, a toy for when she grew lonely or bored. She'd used him again to hurt Nick, and when that wasn't enough, she'd used him to further her own insane motives. She said she loved him... he saw her clearly now. No reservations. He was no fool.
Always hated what Helen did to him (evil bitch die!). Thanks for reading
