Yay!
Well I actually managed to get a full chapter of 'Forever' written and posted last night! Whew. O' course I was up until nearly 2 am to do it, but I really did want to get something new out there before I left. I also wanted to jump into the thick of things, and those particular scenes had been itching to come out.
So we drive to Ft. Worth this afternoon to stay the night at Mom's, and then to the airport waaaaay too early on Monday. I am freaking out about taking my 20 month old on a plane ride. Freaking the fuck out. Seriously. On an amusing note, I have created a monster. Husband HAD to pack seven...count them, seven hats for the trip. *Eye roll*
Did I mention I'm a little freaked out about the plane...and managing all the luggage and the baby? Husband still can't use his left hand very much at all (surgery) and we have a ridiculous amount of luggage. Needed a suitcase just for hats and shoes. *snickers* The shoes isn't all me either... he's ALMOST as bad as me. Husband is such a freak. S'okay. I suppose I am, too.
Ah, and the joy of sharing a house with six adults and six kids. At least we have our own room, and it's the one with the computers in it. Convenient. Bringing the laptop, too. Wishing MINE wasn't broken.
