Lucky thing; Anna found the old factory radio from my Honda. It wasn't a bad radio, but it didn't have a CD player (just tape). So today I installed it, found the code for it after some helpful tips from other people on the internet and it's running alright except that I couldn't find the antenna wire and I can only marginally get 91.9. Project for tomorrow: find the antenna wire and get it in there.
Long-term: either replace it with a CD player, get the CD player add-on from Honda (though that's more expensive than it should be, maybe E-bay will help), or get some kind of MP3 player and a tape adapter.
Also may get the chance to help a grad student at UTK with a project on cognitive behavior or a species of turtle and the impacts of environmental toxicology on that turtle's behavior. Plus, possibly, the evolutionary precedent leading to the structure of the brain to this particular reaction. We'll see...
