finished an excellent book
I just completed Jonathan Strange and Mr. Norrell by Susanna Clarke. It took me more than two weeks to read (on train rides, mostly), but then the book is nearly 800 pages long and printed in a small typeface.
It was excellent historical fantasy - kind of surprising that an 800-page book moving at a slow pace could reach a feverish pace in the last 100 pages. One of the best books I've read in years.
