home alone
The kids were shipped off yesterday to summer camp for a week of unsupervised mayhem... only kidding, they have counselors who all seem to be 16 and 20. There seem to be a couple of adults around at the higher administrative levels. Puppy is rooming in a bunk with one of his best friends from Hoboken; Princess also has a friend from South Orange with her! She's only 7.5 years old, but she gave us a hug and never looked back - she was ready!
After we dropped off the kids, Elynn and I headed out to Nouveau Sushi in Montclair. Great sushi - hands down the best sushi I've ever eaten!!!!!
Elynn just left for music camp - she's spending a week at the Vermont Music and Arts Center. She'll have a great time! I think she's doing the Early Music workshop with her flute.
And then there's me... home alone, classes to teach on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday evenings, garage doors to prime, gardens to water, fish to feed... And I have to pick up the kids on Saturday by hitching a ride - El took our car to Vermont.
