i tell my sorrows to the stones

It is 1am on Tuesday night and the television offers me

1) Titus - adaptation of Titus Andronicus starring Anthony Hopkins, Alan Cumming, Jessica Lange wearing a metal gold bodice (is she playing Tamora, Queen of the Goths? Dear god, she really is. And her metal bodice has little perfectly formed metal nipples, it's like Fritz Lang directed this and oh god, Alan Cumming as Titus appears to be dressed like NAPOLEON) and...an impossibly young and pretty Jonathan Rhys Meyers, whose only expression seems to be EMO.
2) The Departed
3) Jackie Brown
4) Across the Universe- the delightfully trashy musical

I am flipping between these four options, a dizzying experience at the best of times, but positively disconcerting at this hour.

OK, just flipped back to Titus and there are shiny patent leather tunic-ed whores plying their trade outside the Roman senate. Truly I have seen it all.

ETA: 2am: The 'hands' speech is going on. And I think they rewrote it to make it more comic for the movie, or at least mention 'hands' more. Plus there's suspense type music. This gets better and better.

I have little in the way of real news, apart from mad procrastination (aided by the Complete Boxset of The West Wing that's currently sitting on my shelves-- I've got my parents completely hooked on it).

How is everyone? Give me things to look at on the internet.
