Zzzzz..... [2/3]witandhalfwitAugust 1 2008, 03:13:45 UTC
[Personality] Kyouya's personality at first (to those that see him when he doesn't want something from them, anyway) seems to be built upon deception and control. Anyone who does not get to know him would retain this impression.
Kyouya is brilliant and rich, and doesn't feel particularly ashamed of this.
Although there are a few things Kyouya values more than money (Tamaki's friendship and the Host Club staying together), you have to dig deep to figure this out, as he masks any non-self-serving aspect of any action with a cool demeanor and a ready angle. When he has nothing to do, he tends to be fairly apathetic.
When he does want something from someone, he immediately affects the personality most likely to secure cooperation, although he rarely outright lies. He has no problem with actions bordering on extortion and not-so-subtle suggestions to, say, Tamaki, though.
Despite this he has been seen helping out strangers on more than one occasion. Go figure, huh?
[Abilities] Kyouya has a fairly good analytical mind. Although his physical abilities are almost entirely baseline human (he is suggested to have at least above-average strength when he absently puts a forearm-shaped dent in the hood of a very expensive car when pissed in Episode 26), his real talents lie in his leadership, ability to analyze a situation with his own brand of common sense, and his planning, which can often turn a disaster for everyone (else) into a substantial gain for himself (and the host club).
[Other important stuff] Kyouya absolutely hates being woken up, especially when he's been up late. His eyes inflict terror on even the most hardened idiot when he is in this state. His memory is also somewhat unreliable about when he is in this state.
Wait... [3/3]witandhalfwitAugust 1 2008, 03:14:58 UTC
[Sample post] ... why is there light?
And where has my bed gone? I am positive I fell asleep in my own bed after the Ouran festival... this feels more like... yes, a commoner's dirt road.
I should get up and figure out where Tamaki's dragged me this time, but five more minutes shouldn't hurt.
(half an hour later)
Right, this place. The mall was interesting; let's see what we ha- what?
A floating castle...
Tamaki did not drag me here.
This village looks abandoned. I don't have my wallet. Again. At least I have... hm. This isn't my cellphone.
This isn't even a normal cellphone; no consumer electronics this size can transmit video of this quality.
Well, at least it'll be interesting...
[Which rule was your favorite and why?] Dreamberry. Good use for a character journal/justification for in-character investigation of other people's journal posts. [Any questions?] Is there anyone else around here?
