make one up
So I'm here in the computer lab, waiting for my teacher to show up at her office, and have fifteen minutes to kill. Therefore, I shall write a lj entry (shocking, I know).
So, I just finished a final paper! Sadly, it is only one of four, and the other three look to be longer and more difficult to research and write about. But one is done! I'm going to turn it in today, a full week earlier than I have to! I know this sounds disgustingly overachiever-esq, but I assure you it is the epitome of procrastination because I have used this paper as a means of avoiding starting on my other papers. which will suck like a tummy-tuck surgery. But I shall avoid thinking about them as much as possible for now.
Ummm....oh! I get to write a paper about anime! sort of. I'm doing a research paper on the use of Mesopotamian myth in Japanese animation, the main question being why do they include it and how accurate is their representations? The "research" I've done so far is to watch nine episodes of "Gilgamesh" (which is a very odd and disconcerting anime whose characters SERIOUSLY creep me out. Each and every single one of the characters from the random hotel workers to the main "bad" guys and "good" guys are ridiculously creepy). This is the next paper that I shall tackle and use to avoid the other, more difficult and lengthy ones. At least this type of procrastination actually feels like I'm getting something done...
Do you know something that irks me? the lack of raspberry truffle ice cream in my campus dinning hall. They promise some, but they never deliver. I should light something on fire to show my ire.
