Loved to read this, especially because, in a sense, Bonham's even more a 'man of mystery' than the Earl. Plus, the Klaus-Bonham-interaction was simply priceless - they've certainly come a long way from the age-insults.

Caesar!fic in the nearby future? Wooohoo!

I have always liked how they have given each other "pet" names in canon. Klaus = Uncle Nato
Bonham = Rolly Polly

They're secretly good friends. All the guys I know who are good friends, call each other horrible names!

Klaus tries to recruit Bonham as a subordinate in "The Laughing Cardinals" because he's so organized. I find that very amusing. (Dorina, of course, found it annoying.) I think he tries again in "Seven Days In September" because he's such a good driver.
