I'm not sure if this really fits the subordinates challenge or not, despite a rather lengthy scene with the alphabets. I suppose it does, but I think I could do better - because this is just a very odd plotbunny that's been kicking around my head for awhile, rather than something written specifically for the challenge. ;)
