The day after Mother´s day
Hm, the day passed at least in my time zone now, how is it with yours? Here comes fanart again.
WARNING: FLUFFIEST FLUFF! BABIES ! ! If you´ve got a sugar overdose from my last picture, this new one is much worse.

And after this photo was taken, Frau von Eberbach layed her babyboy in the cradle, left the room ... stumbled and felt down the 495 steps of the big Schloss Eberbach staircase. The last words she whispered were "Take good care of my baby" to Konrad. SOB!
... I´m unfunny and evil. But I want to stress that I somehow prefer the theory that Klaus´ mum died in an accident and not because of an illness.
So far I haven´t seen a good pic of a baby drawn by Aoike-san ( I mean a real suckling ) hence I tried to "combine" how she would draw them on the basis of her pictures with younger children. At the moment I´m quite content with little Klaus and little Dorian. Not really with the mothers, especially some proportions suck. Sigh and whine.
That´s my visual try on Klaus´mother ... personally I see her like a chaste version of the belly dancer from volume 3. Oh, and the roses that seperate the two pictures are supposed to be the same as in the background from one of the panels in that wonderful "meeting in the desert" scene!
Why "Early tendencies"? I think Dorian is quite clear. Klaus ... I wanted to express that he always liked to open his mouth. ;-P But then, a baby with a bout of temper would have fitted better...? According to what Konrad revealed about Klaus in "Midnight Collector", he sounded somehow like a well-behaved baby to me - so I didn´t want to draw him as a little squaller.
The pose of Klaus with Mama is inspired from a really existing photo with me and my own mother .... awww, soppy.
