Question: Is there really a chance of getting more readership through posting work on either sites? I was always under the impression that pretty much if you were a member or visited Eroicafans and/or Fried-Potatoes, you're probably also a member here--or at least checked on FF.net archives. Just considering the size and loyalty of the fandom.

Correct me if I'm wrong, of course. I just need some assurance that I'm actually reaching new readers and it wouldn't be redundant to repost fics in either archive.

Believe it or not, not everyone has a live journal. Someone commented on one of my stories that they found castlegloria through my LJ link in my bio in Fried-Potatoes.

I have also pimped both castlegloria and schlosseberbach on the Eroicafans message board. Some people join that and then discover there are other Eroica comms out there.

castlegloria currently has 238 watchers, but that doesn't mean we don't have a lot of visitors. Myself, I try to post my stories in as many places as possible (even the Pit) in an attempt to lure unsuspecting readers into the fandom.

Well, I knew that not everyone had an LJ. :P It's more about FF.net, since that has very high traffic--though I must say that the Eroica category is pretty barren when compared to what is actually out there, and compared to other fandoms. It's blasphemy that Nickelodeon kid shows have around 2k+ fanfics while Eroica only just broke the 100 mark. I guess it wouldn't hurt to post on Fried-Potatoes and Eroicafans.

And I'm well aware that you post everywhere. XD You pretty much are the archive on adultfanfiction.net.

The Eroicafans site has been around the longest, so it has the most in its archive. It can be difficult to navigate at times if there are a lot of authors whose names begin with the same letter.

Oh, yeah. I forgot about aff.net. heh.
