Because honestly, I love Castle Black and the Night's Watch. I've seen the entire series (multiple times) but I've only read GoT once, and I'm almost done with CoK, so

I found this quite randomly, but I wanted to comment and say how happy it made me. The world desperately needs more Sam fic! Especially adorable Sam fic like this!

I loved every word of this. The bonding on the watch and the silly nervous talk, how Jon wouldn’t laugh at him because Jon was his friend, his one true friend on the Wall, and anywhere, Sam thinking that Jon might fling him from the wall (so Sam ^^), Mormont playing fool! Every. Single. Word.

Do you know how impossible it is to even find Sam/Jon?

I stopped reading the series for a bit because life caught up with me, but I'm almost done with Storm of Swords and I gotta say that I'm loving Sam more and more with every chapter. I just about squee every time I see his name at the chapter head.
